How to recover from an Ironman

This is not a one size fits all reply but one of the legends of our sport gives us a good idea on how to do it.

I fully agree with her. It needs to be followed by a little break where you do other things and use active recovery to help the body

recover but also to keep your head space healthy. Post IM blues is real and stopping all together can be risky for your mental health.

You might feel loss and purposeless if you do but you need to do active recovery for a while to let the body and the mind heal.
