This is something very important to focus on. Triathletes should not run long or at slow cadence because they come off the bike with tired legs, sore back and tight hip flexors. It is better to conserve energy by taking smaller steps and increasing the cadence. What is cadence? It is your steps per minute. Here is a good article from Polar on the subject. Train safe 🙂
