Our new triathlon coaching squad is dedicated to those who just want to have fun and have a go.
If you’ve never swam a lap before, or ridden a bike, or donned a pair of running shoes – this is the perfect place to start. There are no egos, no races, just you and your personal bests!
If you want to have fun while gradually improving your fitness with a group of like minded people, you’ll absolutely love it.
WHEN ARE THE TRAINING SESSIONS?
Tuesday 5.30-6.30pm – Eastern Beach:
Social Jog session – where we help you run better! Even if you can’t run continuously – we will get you there!
Thursday 6-7pm – Geelong Aquatic Centre:
Social Swim session – where we help you swim better! Even if you’ve never swam one lap in your life.
Saturday 8-10am – Various Locations:
Social Bike session – where we help you bike better! Any type of bike will do, as long as it’s in good working condition.
Sunday 3-4pm – Geelong Aquatic Centre:
Social swim session – where we help you swim better!
And we have many other options available to fit your needs – with multiple squad sessions most days for all abilities (with coach Steph & coach Liam).
Even if you can’t make it – there’s always guided programs delivered to your phone via the “Training Peaks” app – so you’ve always got something to work towards!

We understand that not everyone wants to race, not everyone wants to go as fast as possible, not everyone has a lot of time available. We also understand, what different body types and people are capable of, from the very beginning so you don’t get injured when you’re just starting out.
At GPC we absolutely live for helping others achieve what they want. Just seeing the improvement in how much more energy and vitality our squad members have is truly our passion.

WHO IS THE COACH?
Meet Coach Liam.
Liam has an obsession with all things triathlon.
Liam grew up as a state swimmer, bike rider, runner and playing Aussie Rules football, but at the age of 21 decided to put everything into triathlon.
He loves the challenge of the sport plus all of the physical, mental and social benefits that can result from it. Has also completed a Diploma in Sport Development, Bachelor of Sports Science and Masters of teaching.
Liam has great deal of knowledge in sport science and has applied this his coaching. Being a Physical Education and Health teacher has influenced a passion to guide and share this knowledge as he believes that in order to be reap the benefits of triathlon you need to keep things fun, purposeful, challenging and with others.
