Melbourne 70.3 Course preview

Melbourne 70.3 can throw up all sorts o challenges. It could be heat, cold, wind, hail – the joys of a Melbourne Spring!

In 2024 athlete’s were blessed with what was near-perfect conditions. The 2025 edition is not too far away and if you want to target it as a race, now is the time to commit. We always have a good crew racing and Coach Chris has put together this course preview (based on the 2024 course) for you all. Enjoy.

Chris Chatham is a Full-Time AusTri Development Coach and Level 2 Training Peaks Coach with a a long history of coaching a variety of sports. He has a wealth of AG racing experience, representing Australia at Ironman, 70.3 and World Triathlon World Championships. With a background in education and the Emergency Services, he has an acute understanding on how to balance training with shift work.
